Over the past three years, I have shifted my focus from Marketing and Promotions, back to Broadcast Journalism.
I have been a journalist either full or part-time for most of my career, and have worked for a number of local and national news organizations, including ABC Radio Network, NPR, and USA Today.
I am currently the Morning News Anchor for WAKR Radio (1590 AM-93.5 FM), and I also produce my own weekly radio feature and podcast, This Week in Tech with Jeanne Destro.
It is a weekly roundup of both local and national tech news, plus in- depth interviews on tech-related topics, like cybersecurity, privacy, and links between social media and loneliness.
I created the program based on my long-standing interest in technology, plus my experience working at a tech firm in Seattle, and writing tech-related book reviews for USA Today, in Washington, DC.
